The Envision Technologies Rail-Mounted Aiming/Illumination Laser (RAIL) system designed to provide visible and infrared capability in a single, lightweight unit. Engineered for use on MIL-STD-1913 rails, the RAIL delivers a full suite of laser and illuminator functions while maintaining a low profile and balanced footprint suitable for high-mobility and close-quarters environments.
The RAIL integrates a visible aiming laser (green or red), an infrared aiming laser, an infrared illumination laser, and a 180-degree wide-angle NIR LED flood for confined spaces and CQB use. Its independently adjustable IR illuminator allows the user to tune beam divergence and position without affecting the co-aligned aiming lasers. All laser outputs feature user-selectable power levels to support a wide range of operational conditions.
Powered by a single CR123A battery, the RAIL is designed for simplicity and reliability in the field. Its rail-grabber mounting interface secures tightly to Picatinny rails, while the compact housing keeps overall weight under 6 ounces to preserve weapon balance.
User controls are optimized for rapid operation under stress, featuring programmable visible and CQB override buttons, a seven-position mode selector dial, and glove-friendly controls. An onboard OLED display with manual brightness control and automatic dimming provides real-time system feedback and can be disabled during operation.
The Envision Technologies RAIL provides a complete aiming and illumination solution in an exceptionally small form factor, making it well suited for modern night-fighting and close-quarters weapon configurations where size, weight, and versatility are critical.
