The Ops-Core FAST XR High Cut Ballistic Helmet is built from an ultra-lightweight hybrid composite of advanced Carbon, Unidirectional Polyethylene, and woven Aramid. This ballistic shell delivers excellent protection against both ballistic threats and blunt force impacts, while remaining light enough for extended wear. Engineered for use in all operational environments—including maritime—this helmet is mission-ready wherever it’s needed.

Designed to protect up to 7.62x39mm lead core rifle rounds, the FAST XR provides high-performance ballistic protection in a shell that weighs just 1.72 lbs, striking the ideal balance between protection and mobility.

The helmet features a super high cut shell design, optimizing comfort and weight reduction without sacrificing critical coverage. This profile enhances compatibility with over-the-ear communications systems and allows for seamless integration of ear protection and other mission-specific accessories.

The Modular Bungee Shroud is standard on the FAST XR, securely managing retention bungees behind the shroud to reduce snag hazards and prevent interference with articulating goggles. Closed-loop clips offer reliable goggle retention for added stability in dynamic environments.

Inside, the FAST XR incorporates Ops-Core’s adjustable retention system and Vented Lux Liner. The liner includes recessed channels to accommodate over-the-head communication headsets, allowing users to remove or don the helmet without adjusting their comms gear. Vents built into the liner promote airflow to reduce heat buildup during high-intensity operations.

Also featured are the newly redesigned PowerPath ARC Rails—skeletonized for a 30% weight reduction over legacy systems, while retaining full compatibility with existing mounts. Integrated cable channels within the rails enable secure management of power cables, significantly reducing the risk of snags.

The Ops-Core FAST XR is fully compatible with all standard Ops-Core accessories, including the AMP Communication Headset, drop-in visors, and other complimentary helmet accessories.
